Create an IL Partner Account | |

Before you can begin using the ABE Provider Portal you are required to create an IL Partner Account and register your IL Partner Account in the ABE Provider Portal before you Log In to the ABE Provider Portal.
Create IL Partner Account
How you initiate the creation of an IL Partner Account is dependent on your role in the ABE Provider Portal. To request an IL Partner Account, complete the 1706P form and submit to the following:
- Primary Agency Security Administrator (ASA) - Submit to your organization's HFS Liaison to initiate your IL Partner Account creation.
- Regular users - Submit to your ASA to initiate your IL Partner Account creation.
Register with ABE Provider Portal
After your IL Partner Account has been created, register your account with the ABE Provider Portal.
1. Log into the Provider Portal with the IL Partner User ID and password. 2. Choose the ABE Provider Registration option. 3. Complete the registration form including your organization's Medicaid provider ID. 4. Contact your ASA or HFS liaison to notify them you have completed registration.
Log In to the ABE Provider Portal
After being approved by the HFS Liaison or organization ASA log into ABE.
1. On the ABE Provider Access screen select the ABE Provider Login option. 2. Click the Submit button. If you are not sure how to complete your Provider function in ABE, ask your HFS Liaison for a Guide or Job Aid for your Provider type.
