Choose what you would like to do by clicking one of the buttons, then clicking on the Next button at the bottom of the page. To return to this page and choose an activity later you will need to log in to ABE with your ILogin User ID and password.
1. Start a new application for benefits. This includes benefit for:
2. Keep working on an application that you have already started. If you started an application but didn't submit to us, you can return to the application and complete it now. Keep in mind:
- This will only work if you clicked "Save and Exit" when you last worked on your application
- Once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to make any changes to your application
3. Check the status or view an application already submitted. Submitted your application? Want to know how it is going? Select this option. The status listed here would be: Pending, Submitted, or Complete. Once the State of Illinois has acted on your application, we will update the status.
4. Manage My Case: Use the ABE Manage My Case section to manage your benefits online!
- Submit a Redetermination
- Reschedule Appointments
- Sign-up for Text Messages
- View Notices and Correspondence
- Upload documents
- Report changes - such as address, income, and family members
Before using MMC you will need to "link" your ABE Profile to your Case. If you didn't complete Identity Proofing when applying for benefits, you will need to do that too.
5. File or Manage Appeal, if you do not agree with our decision on your application for benefits, you have the right to file an appeal.
